Description
Scribbling, scribbling on the wall,
A wall of love, hate… Full of uproar
A piece of art began to fall
From my heart, striking it all
Into fragments from my soul
Shattered, broken chaos uproar
Striving to remedy my life-long scar
Scribbling, scribbling on the wall…
The author is a young Saudi female, growing up in an
environment that does not encourage English literature for
teenagers. Having little attachment to tradition, she is able to
discard existing norms and pull together original ideas. Although
a high school student with English as a second language, she
managed to grasp the attention of her English teachers with her
unique performance in her writings as she has a way with words
and wit that others find intriguing.
